Computer freezes and black outs due to certain programs and 'drag and drop'

when i hit f6 during setup nothing happens... Windows continues and then asks if I have any other drivers that I need to install. I hit 'S' then it says it will install according to VIA etc.

Then I hit enter and setup windows....

Now that I've installed the VIA RAID tool, it lists my hard drives but it doesn't highlight any of the icons to make any changes to them.

Yeah,

I attempt to hit f6 but for some reason nothing happens, it continues on to "press f2 for auto recovery" or something like that, then I wait til I am prompted again to install the floppy.

and I bet it doesnt let you install the drivers from the floppy does it?

yeah it is, this is the most fun you can have without a partner lol

I use a wireless keyboard and mouse but I don't see how that would prevent me from hitting f6 during the many attempts I've made to install windows.

I beleive its supposed to do that. I had this problem when installing sata drivers for my xps dell machine. When I hit F6, it would proceed with the install then ask for the floppy, I insert it, select the driver, it goes thru, then when it finished, it asked for another driver from the floppy but it wouldnt access the floppy for some reason so I had to slipstream the sata drivers in the xp cd. I used my wireless keyboard and it work just fine

so how should I try to proceed from this point?

Create another windows boot cd with the drivers included?

This would be a first, but i'm definitely up for the challenge... I try to learn as much as possible
