Icon removal

How can I remove the Network Neighborhood and My Documents icons from my desktop?

This can be done through the registry or with a third party "windows manager".

Do you want to remove it completly or just change it?

I am running Windows 98 SE. I want to get rid of them I never use them

Get tweakui added to you control panel to do it.
I will email it if you like.

I have tweakui in my control panel I unchecked network neighborhood but the my documents icon was not listed.
The Bruins did quite a number on your guys the other night Go Bruins!

thanks that worked I don't know why I never right clicked on that one before.
He is amusing, we don't get to see him much down here though. He does dress well(?) though
