I am looking into purchasing a new BFG GeForce 6200 OC 256MB. One of the requirements is this, "An AGP 2.0 or higher compliant motherboards. Some motherboards violate the AGP specification and therefore this card may not physically fit in some systems."

How do I check this? I don't want to buy the card in order to find out that the card doesn't fit in my system. My Motherboard is an Intel Brownsville 2 D845GEBV2 (6 PCI, 1 AGP, 2 DIMM, Audio, Video), My CPU is an Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 1.70GHz, and my current video card is a Geforce 5200 FX Ultra 128MB.

So, will the card fit? If not, what do I need.
Thank you,
JiveTurkey

NOTE: ALL SPECS FROM EVEREST HOME EDITION.

Wait, I think I got it with CPU-Z. AGP Version 2.0, according to that. Any other possible concerns I might have?

Thank you, I had to be sure before I ordered it.
To Shannon, I don't actually know what JiveTurkey means. I got this response from someone once, "You talk Jive, and you're a Turkey" when I asked what it meant.

Okay, because one of my neighbors has a wireless network named JiveTurkey and I always wondered. Plus it'd be a really odd coincidence if you were my neighbor. :)
