1st time building a pc.

r the asus boards good? I want to get a new MB and CPU... hoping to get it in a combo so I will only have to pay about $100-$150... Does anyone know what I should get within those limits?

it all seems pretty easy, as long as you read up on the manual( or PC building guide) like "PC building for Dummies"....one thing that I have seen alot in here and its true...patience. if you rush into it, you would have a greater chance of screwing up something. and if you are build a Gaming rig, one thing you will need is Speed, at least 512MB of RAM and a 128 MB Video Card (i suggest nVidia) AMD would be the best processor for gaming, dependng on your budget the athlon 64 is good. I am using an AMD 3200+xp due to my budget.
