An error occured during direct play voice setup

Windows cannot execute DpvSetup.exe, use add/remove panel to install.

hello my microphone has not been working and when i click the test hardware button it says

an error occured during DirectPlay voice setup

then it says

Windows cannot execute DpvSetup.exe, use add/remove panel to install.

i have tried everything and nothing works please help.

maybe try some of these, it didnt fix hiw but it could fix yours.....
