Blue Screen Errors of Death

I have recently restored a freinds HP notebook with a new hard drive and the recovery software. Now after updating and installing current drivers, (all with windows update) i recieve the following blue screens

0xa Irq not less or equal with an NTFS.sys conflict (appears most often)
0xbe
0x7f

I have ran the recovery console and a dskchk /r
I have used the diagnostics tools for the laptop, all tests pass
I have looked into device manager for resources conflicts

I have found a bios update, but it requires a floppy
and this laptop has no floppy

funny that i can only get it to blue screen if i leave it off for awhile and then power it on.

did you format it with ntfs?

did you run a repair yet?

yes formated with ntfs, and ran the repair

okay now i restored again with recovery discs, only to blue screen (IRQ not less or Equal) while i was watching porno (only to test the computer)

ram issue. try setting bios to the default to see if it goes away. then run mestest86

ran memtest 86 three times, no errors
