I'm satisfied with onboard sound, you dont really need the creative unless you have really good speakers to notice the difference.

The sound card will increase fps, in sound heavy games such as BF2, espicially when you have the sound quality turned all the way up.

aer you talking about the video fps or what? how does a sound card improve that?


edit: and besides...an audigy 2 zs for 50 bucks or whatever it is, is not a bad deal at all

lol no it cant.

no wait actually it can. instead of using onboard soudn u get a audigy 2 zs and u get about 3-7 fps more newer game.

try when u get your audigy 2 zs try with out it then installit and see the difference.

you see with onboard u using more cpu for sound. with audigy 2 zs u get rid of of the cpu doign sound and u get cpu doign more game related stuff.

weather u wanna pay 50-400 more for a few fps is your dilema.
