Editing the registry
Begin by opening the Registry Editor and navigating to

go to start -> run -> type "regedit"

i dont know if anyone has mentioned it, but u can disable the genuine windows validation in internet explorer
click tools>internet options>programs>manage add ons> then disable windows genuine validation too
do this after it tells you that your key is invalid, then go back to where it say EXPRESS or CUSTOM and it will bypass the validation

an even easier way is Warezmonster had posted it in the tips,trick,tutorials section just put something in ur win32 folder and it works forever i did it

someone else also advised me to do this - however under the programs tab there was no manage add ons. perhaps im using an older version or smth? can u advise?

My hubby told me a program that might help called Fresh UI ... it has an area that will mark windows as "activated/ genuine" That might be easier.
