Okay, I have had this happen before as well, but now it is happening again since I have reformatted. What I am talking about is my video files not playing the full length. I have had this videos through several reformats and now they are starting not to play the full length. They will play like the first minute of the video correctly and then continue to play the sound while flashing images of the video on the screen until the video is over (original video length). So basically the little bar at the bottom of WMP 10 goes across pretty quickly and when it hits the end side is when the video cuts out and the sound continues. It also does this in DivX.
I remember fixing this by searching for a file and changing something about it's name and then my videos worked perfectly! I just can't seem to find the site where I got that info, and it is really starting to irritate me!
Anybody know what file I am supposed to alter, and how to alter it?
