new here.., but been messing with these confusingputers for 15 years. and i think i am still 15 years behind the times.

i come here seeking help, i will post my problem and if you all can direct me to the proper forum i would really be thankfull for the help !

i switched from Earthlink dial up to Qwest/MSM DSL, during that change over period i was posting on several BBs, three of my favorite BBs banned me for the reason that i was using another posters ID, i tried writing them explaing what happened & my Emails are also banned.

is there any way short of buying another computer to log on to those sites ?? this has become very frustrating.

You can try a couple of things...

If you are behind a router : Bypass the router and release/renew your Ip... If that doesn't work you can get another NIC card incase they have saved your MAC address.
