Total ~ 1435.

What do you guy think? Good system for the price? Any improvements you guys can think of?

With the processer, I personally think you should either drop to the 3800 to save money or go up to the 4400 for more cache.

I have never heard of foxconn motherboards.....I am not going to say not to get it because I know nothing about it, but the more popular brands are MSI if your not overclocking and DFI if you will be overclocking although I think MSI is supposed to be decent in overclocking on certain boards.

I would drop the raptor, as it only makes load times go faster. This will save you some money that you can use to upgrade to a evga 7800GT.

Silverstone.......Never heard of it, no reviews, I wouldn't trust it unless you did some research on it and it turns out to be good. Fortron, Antec, and OCZ are usually reliable brands to get. Do some research in this area, you do NOT want to risk getting an unreliable PSU.

That dvd burner looks good, but you could save money by getting an NEC one. I would do some research in this area.

All around looks cool, good luck man.

Motherboard brand is a terriblecompany. Foxconn are poor reliability, poor peformance, poor features, poor build quality.

I recomend DFI lanparty series boards

Thanks for the heads up... but I couldn't find a DFI board with everything I wanted on it. How about an ABit board?

As to the rest, I'll look at into it and finalize my new build shortly. Thanks!

OK, thanks all... I've finalized my build, and here it is... (unless, of course, I made a horrible choice on something and one of you lets me know).

In case you're wondering, I decided to stick with the raptor for my app needs (I do a lot with photoshop and video editting, so I will notice a small load time decrease when loading files that are 2+ GB large), and I decided to stick with the lowly 6800 vid card after all, because I don't game that much at the moment, and this card will handle CoD2 just fine. :) I'll probably end up upgrading the vid card in a few months, but I'll go with this for now anyway.

Thanks for all your help, guys.
