Dell question

Do Dells allow non Dell brand name RAM module to run on the motherboard? I have a friend who wants more RAM for his Dell but isn't sure if this will work with it.

As long as the system takes DDR memory, but you might want to check the speed of his memory. The one you show is pc2100 but many systems are pc3200

Well this computer is like 4 years old so the standard was pc 2100.

If the mobo supports 184-pin pc2100 then ya it will work perfectly
