Does motherboard matter

MSI's are generally considered very good mobos. Also it supports 1gb more ram, and a few other things. Just look through the featurettes =/

The problem is that my CPU is an intel P4 2.8Ghz with HT Technology and that mobo does not support HT technology. Is that going to matter very much?

If it doesn't support ht technology, it just doesn't use it. It's still compatable.

Is your case micro atx and atx because if it only accepts micro atx, the 2nd one wont fit.

Yes it supports both ATX and Micro ATX Boards

Also will getting this mohterboard with all my other computer parts I have right now in it improve my computer performance.
