Comp. has random shutdowns, can it be my os?

****, did it again 2 times today. Didnet read the error first time
when it just did it, it said
BAD_POOL_HEADER

Im pretty shure it was a faulty limewire. I removed it and ill check back later if it has any problems. I think its limewire becuase when id open it, the computer would just go to that blue screen most of the time.

Well, while talking to someon on aim, it did it again to the blue screen.

" A problem has been deteceted and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer "
"IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"

that usually mean bad ram or wrong ram timing setting. set your bios to the fail safe default to see if that fixes it or run memtest86

this usually mean a corrupt file or bad hard drive, though it's usually the first one

alrite, my ill have a look at that. Taking off lime wire did nothing. ill try to fix it
