no it won't it will give it a new product ID. MS is letting up on it activating policy in the past two. I just reinstall windows on this computer. now I haven't been able to activate it since I'm on my 4 th different mobo. I alway had to call MS and get a new install id number, but yesterday, I activated it and it went through without calling.

But Warez you are a corp user and you know that you are not affected by activation so why go there?

A lot of you are saying to call MS, I've heard that they literally make you wait 6 hours to get through, and don't take offense but I would sooner steal from a company before I accepted service like that

it always took me 5-10 minutes

So you still want to get the hardware profile sent to them but you don't want their newsletter? What are you planning to acomplish?
