I got a new motherboard recently, and everything's fines, except that the computer restarts randomly. It restarted when I was playing Fable, Dawn of War and Rome-Total War. I checked the ram, the temperature (mid 50s for both GPU and CPU) and the psu, but I still have no idea why it keeps restarting.

Any help will be much appreciated

Yes, I did all that, I even swapped hard drives, reformatted, reinstalled all the drivers, but it just keeps randomly restarting.

I do notice that when is restarts all the hard drives turn off until the bios loads up... Does this mean anything?

Im just guessing here but id almost bet you money that your power supply is the problem.Even if it is new I still think that it is the problem.

It mostly happens during games, but it happened once or twice when I least expected, so now I'm not sure. I don't know if it is the psu or heating, as I did a max power/heat stress test with prime95.

And I do have the latest drivers for the 3d card
