PSU, is it enough?

New build, will run dual core, 2 gig ram, 2 HDD's, 2 DVDRW's and a 7800gtx PCIE

i already have the psu, will it have the juice to pull though?

Yes, but there were better ones out there for that price.
That one isn't bad but should be fine. Although it says it's 450w, it's got active pfc and dual rails - with 34v on the 12v altogether

actually, i only paid $40 for it from a friend. so you say i should be rock stable?

I never said ROCK stable, but you shouldn't encounter any problems along the lines of crashes, freezes, etc.
It should hold up fine, just MAY encounter more problems than it's predicessors

450 watts sounds a little low for a system with the specs you described. I would get either 500-550. Also, try and get a better brand, like silverstone, OCZ, PCP&C, Antec or FPS group.
