upgrading video card

I am thinking about upgrading my video card in my machine to a 7800GT 256MB eVGA 256-P2-N515-AX. is this a good video card for the price and is there anything out there that is better within around $300? I am also going to need a new psu to power the card because my wimpy 250W that came with my case will not cut it

It's a good card. Look at OCZ and Antec power supplies. Both are good.

Yea all benchmarks show this card outperforms even the high end latest ATI cards that cost more.

The best card on the market dollar for dollar right now...and will eat games like BF:2, Half life 2, doom3 for LUNCH.

I highly recommend Enermax power supplies as well.

I am looking at the Antec TruePower 2.0 TP2-550 EPS12V ATX12V 550W Power Supply on newegg for $99.99. any other thoughts on this?

The antec psu is very good and the video card is excellent i myself have the N515-AX too
