i have a problem, suddenly after a restart my computer now says i have a floppy drive hooked up and its only recognizing 1 out of the two cd drives. what should i do thanks

check your IDE cables, if u open up tour computer after:

1) GROUNDING YOURSELF (TOUCH METAL OBJECT)

2) BE VERY CAREFUL AND HAVE DRY HANDS

check to see these two about 1 1/2" cables are in securley to your cd/dvd drives.

if that is good, then your problem is drivers


either download new drivers for your cd/dvd drives or...
enter BOIS <not recommened unless your a pro

my cd drives didnt come with cd with drivers on them

ok so i guess its a motherbaord compat problem, look it up on google.... or u could go into BIOS and program "Boot Device Priority" to CD-ROM, i bet u its right now set on A: Floppy.
