7800gtx bfg model 1.75ghz memory

(ok i just witnessed the fastes video card on the planet lol jk
anyways the. bfg 7800gtx 24 pipe 580mhz core 1.75ghz memory/256bit/512mb)

(how did they get this core and the memory that high? did they bin them to find cores and memory that would do this speed? or can most 7800gt/gtx cores do this with heavy cooling but not water cooling, and is it even possible to get a regular 7800gt's memory to that? or do these cards have some of bfg's own memory in there)

all the 512mb 7800GTX use differant mem to the 256mb brothers and the default for them i think is 1.5ghz mem but i might be wrong

the differant mem is why they are in such short supply

the 512MB 7800 GTX's are using different RAM chips. they're new, made by Samsung, and clock really high.

and the cards have got larger coolers, so they can clock the GPU higher.

yea could you imagine sli'n those things wow! ive actually heard of there memory getting to 1.85ghz and the core to 606mhz
lol thats 14544 texles per second!!!, and that bandwidth would proubly be 45-50gb and this is only one. i think two would be scary lol what do you think a 3dmark05 score would be? becasue just this vga setup would cost you roughly 1500 bucks! which alone could build a sweet sli system, with the 7800gt's

Except for the fact that they cost a ludicrous amount, are impossible to find, and have very poor memory yields from Samsung
