Yea its cheap. But 17" and 5ms, for $270 before rebate, not AMAZING.

I shoulda bought that though, haha.

yeah it would still be pretty big considering it would stand higher than lcds so a 19 inch would be be a huge in provement. I have the 19 inch version and it kills my 16 inch dell crt in height and size. Lol

My 17" 8ms Acer LCD ($220) looks HUGE (Very nicely big enough for me, haha) to me without my glasses ;).

Yeah there's nothing wrong with 17's.

I'm at work now looking at a 15" Viewsonic Optiquest... it's ok, i certainly wouldn't want to play games on it.

For some reason I always thought that the 17" meant 17 inches across horizontally, but it turns out its actually diagonally, lol. Yea...:)

As for gaming on a 17", atleast for me, its amazing. I don't know why anyone would need a 23" (my friend has a 23" CRT) for gaming or anything more than 19". IMO, its a waste of money, but thats just me. Any game looks amazing on this, I don't know why, lol.

Yeah a buddy of mine has a 30" Apple Cinema LCD. When ever I;m at his house and play battlefield 2, it's almost too much screen.

I guess cause i'm used to 19" & the mouse movements to negotiate in 19", when you go to 30" the mouse movements are greater. So for me, it seems like it takes me forever to move.
I guess it takes a little getting use to. I'll never get used to that because like flanker said, "it's a waste of money."

Don't get me wrong it's nice, buti'm certainly not going to spend $1300 on a monitor.... FUNK NO!!!
