Hello, im building my first computer and need abit of help please.
Could someone tell me if the parts listed below are-

-Worth buying
-Good value
-All compatable
-Good enough to play the lastest games, download and do more multi tasking eg. burning, editing videos, using vb software...
-Any other recommendations.

Do not see a Video Card listed, and as far as the Hard drive goes, I have heard the one you listed is good but noisy. Maxtor and Seagate were rated quieter. I went with a Maxtor 250 for the 16mb buffer. My brother has Giel Mem, and I have Corsair XMS and my Memory is tons better. The OCX I listed has been compared to the XMS and is cheaper by far.

It looks fine but I would definitly go with a Seagate SATA. I think you could also go with a better motherboard, but someone who knows Gigabyte better than I can straighten me out here if I am wrong. I personally am not a big fan of DFI because there are many people that have issues with it, but there are plenty out there that can make it work just fine. DFI's latest offerings are built for mega overclocking. If you are not into overclocking then I wouldn't spend the money. I use Crucial Ballistix RAM myself.

* Here is the one thing that you have to change, IMO, and that is you must have a better power supply. The power supply is the backbone of every system and you will be underpowering you PC with your choice.. Look for a good 500W+ PSU from Enermax, Antec ( I have their True Power 2.0 550W) , Fortran -- there are others.

The thing you want to look for is what the PSU supplies on the 12v. rail. It shouldn't be less than 30A.

Nothing wrong with the western digital. Im not a fan of Seagate as the drive I got from them died within 2 months. When I recieved a new one after I RMAd the old one, it died in 2 weeks. They do have nice warranties though
