Computer MB errors

Ok well I found a Computer off the street it is a AMD A1000 so I picked it up.
Firsrtly it has no port for the monitor therefore I cannot run the Bios.

I want to buy new hardware but I dont know wether the computer even works.
What I do know is thta the processor rune cause when I turn on the computer the processor starts up. And also when I turn it on there is an orange light on the motherboard.

Now I thoguht that as long as that orange light is running it means the MB is ok.
I want to buy new parts but however want to make sure the MB is ok without having to view the bios and buy a gfx card.

Can someone tell me if the motherboard ok from this info or what I should do?

most likely the orange light is the dimm led? it means the ram/memory is ok.. but it could be something else..

does it make a beep when it starts or any speaker noise at all?


you should try and find/get a cheap graphics card (pci) and put it in so you can see if it will boot or not (on screen)

ok ty but i dont have Ram inside but it uses DIMM ram thats what i know

i would take it to a local computer repair shop. Those dudes should have the stuff needed to see if it works. If they don't, it's not much of a repair shop then.
