Default File Associations are Messed Up

Hi,

I recently downloaded a free trial of the iolo System Mechanic Pro 6 on my computer and did a scan. One of the things they detected was "dangerous file associations". Not really thinking twice about it, I let the program "fix" the "problems". Because of this, now nearly all the files I use daily are opended by Notepad!! I tried to undo the actions in the program but somehow it did not save the undo info.

Is there a way to restore Windows' default file associations?

Also I remember I used a program called tweakui for this problem once. I think there's an updated version for xp. You might wanna google it.
