my girlfriend is having problems w/her pc it a dell 2400 everytime she trys to connect to internet expl it bring up dial up configuration and number to dial but she has dsl . Tried to configure internet to disable dial up to show but still popsup and won't let her connect to the internet . Scratching my head here needs some help ?????

My internet connection used to do that whenever there were problems detecting the dsl connection. I disabled the "dialup-reminder" through the message that pops-up, so I don't get it anymore. Something about "don't ask me" (or something rather) check box. I am sure you'll find it. Anyways, if there is a dsl problem, that's another issue altogether.
