Computer Surround Sound

Hey guys, i think that i want surround sound for my computer. I was wondering if my motherboard would suppord surround sound, its the ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe. It says that i can but i'm not sure. Heres an image:

Well if so, then i wouldnt need anything like THIS correct?

Also, i was thinking of getting THIS pair of speakers. They should sound good together right?

Hey, Brian

Yes if that is a picture of the motherboard you have, then YES you will be able to use surround sound speakers. You need Front, Rear and Center/Subwoofer ports... Which that mobo has. Then your spekers need to have 3 connecters for front, rear, center/sub. Then your all set.

Onboard Audio isn't really the best audio. It willl do the trick, but if you play games or listen to music, you might consider upgrading to a sound card. The one you linked wouldn't be my choice. If you were going to upgrade, i'd consider the Creative X-fi Extreme Music It's around $115. If that is too much, consider at least the Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS.

will thoes speakers be louder and more cleaner than the ones that i have currently, they are the LOGITECH Z340 ???

They are much better. Get them from newegg. They're a lot cheaper
