My motherboard says it supports 200/266 MHz Non-ECC, Unbuffered DDR Synchronous DRAM (DDR SDRAM).

This means I have to buy PC2100 ram, right?
Does this mean I have to buy Non-ECC memory?
Does 200/266 MHz measure the speed of the memory bus or the speed of the memory?
My computer's FSB is 400mhz. So does that mean my memory is under utilizing my computer's FSB speed?

I'm also thinking of upgrading my CPU. If the answer to my last question is yes, then I shouldn't need to buy a CPU with a really fast FSB, right??

You can buy PC200 or PC266

and yes it means you have to buy Non ECC and unbuffered memory.

The 200/266 is how fast the RAM and clock.

FSB, is how fast Data is being moved into the CPU, memory operats slower then the FSB on all computers.

You can upgrade your proc, but still have to use PC200 or PC266 Memory.
