Little Upgrade

I want to upgrade my video card even though its AGP. Spending limit is $200, any suggestions?

I wouldnt reccoment upgrading your gfx card, instead save buy a motherboard with pci-express and a 6600gt for 250 if you can scavenge up 50 bucks more.

I'm very happy with my 6800 vanilla. If you must stay with AGP, it's a good choice.

Well just for your info, they're coming out with an AGP 6800GS this week, which beats the 6800 vanilla quite handily, and it should be about $200.

I regret buying a Radeon. It was nice at first but the driver updates screw everything up. This week? I'll prolly wait and see this 6800GS you speak of riceball, thx.

yeah the 6800GS is coming soon, the price will probably be higher then the 6800GS PCIE16 so you better save up some more money

I'm also upgrading my 9600 agp and I also want to spend around $200. I was going to get a Nvidia untill I saw that best Buy has a ATI 256mb X850pro on sale for $230- You can unlock it to 16 pipeline...

What do you guys think will be a better choice, the 6800gs or the X850pro?
