Allright, I'm looking to build a new computer with a little help from you guys. I will be doing high end gaming, multi tasking (it's coming with me to college) and maybe a little bit of OC'ing. My budget is $2000 and i need everything except for an operating system.

hmm do you game a lot at college, and want to risk having a 700 dollar video card

im looking at a DFI nF4 ultra-D or DFI nF4 SLI-DR expert if you ever WANT to go SLI but we all go against it
X2 4400+ or opteron 170 if you can find it
2GB of ram defintely, some decent ones not some gay valueselect
big hdds obviolsy mayube 2 250GB ones
A nice sleek case, maybe thermaltake soprano or one of the antec sonata cases
nice quiet keyboard saitek eclise or g15
mouse ?
antec truepower 550W power supply or enermax 600W all in one noisetaker

Well 700 bills is a lot to drop on a vid card and as far as a case i was looking at the thermaltake tsunami.

May hey could go Sli 7800 GTX's. Just a thought.

And while the the Antec pzero suggested is good, I would go with the 600 watter from OCZ, especially for a 2 grand build.

sli is a waste of money, theres not much of an performance improve for the price of the card.

I dont think I am gonna go with sli yet, but may get and sli mobo and get a second card once prices drop a bit.
