http://www.memtest86.com/

It tests if the memory is good or not, it will list errors when it goes through the tests.

After you download the .iso file from the link, you need to burn it to a blank CD-R using Nero or DVDDecrypter or any other program that can burn image files.

you then would boot off of it.

Please consider the following.

Backing up all your IMPORTANT data and reformating and reinstalling, if the problem still presists it probably bad motherboard or PSU.

Hmmm wel ive rteid that as o said before, does any one have anything else to try???

I hate these types of problems.

Last possible reseasons:

Bad power supply, bad motherboard. Bad Harddrive. Over heating

Now I dont think the harddrive is bad because you would of had more problems then just this if it where bad.

Its most likly instability in the motherboard. or overheating.

Now, I hate suggesting this but consider adding more fans, buying new motherboard and or buying new power supply.

But before spending money I would see if you couldn't borrow parts from someone else Like Power supply to test in your system.

Er...doesn't 64 degrees celsius sound a little high for a sempron?

Have you tried cleaning the dust in your case and your cpu fan/heatsink? If that doesn't have an effect then perhaps reseating your fan/heatsink and applying some better thermal paste?
