I would get either get a 400 or 450 watt forton, so you can upgrade later.

Also look for RAM with a CASH latency of 2, 3 is pretty slow.
It means it takes 3 clock cycles to write to RAM. And Thats pretty slow.

I wouldn't build around a Chaintech motherboard. They tend to be hit/miss as far as reliability and DOA's. I suggest MSI, or Gigabyte for people on a budget.

yeap, msi or the gigabyte.
my gigabyte has been very good to me so far w/ my 754 system.

I wish that i could of said the same about my GA-K8NS. about 2 or 3 months ago, it told me to go take a hike and it wouldnt' even POST (and thats AFTER resetting the CMOS). so i had to drop some cash on my DFI board in my sig.

For the time that it did work though, it was a champ. the BIOS isn't very detailed compared to my LanParty, but then again its not for the power user, my LanParty is.

Because of how my GA-K8NS died, its impossible for me to reccomend it. its just completly unacceptable. If you go the nForce route, get my DFI LanParty UT nForce3 250Gb, it is absolutly stunning in the options it gives you and it is rock-solid.
