alright, i'm still on my build and i just RMAd the RAM and PSU they're brand new. and i just was installing and durring the 4/5 step and i go to BSOD. now the ram mods are brand new and i get the IRQL_NOT_EQUAL_OR_LESS. so is it the slots on my mobo?? i don't understand this. i guess i'll try the other mobo slots n see what happens.

With a DFI board you generally will get these errors until you go into the BIOS and manually set the RAM's stock voltage. It defaults to 2.6.

the default in the BIOs is 2.6? or you have to set it to 2.6? thanks.

The BIOS default is 2.6. You have to set it to what your RAM is rated for.

If you got it from newegg, it should be listed in the specs. If not, it should be on the sticker on the RAM. Give me a link to the RAM you got and I can tell you.
