If you were to buy a new graphics card what would you buy? I want to spend less than $300 if possible. I would like it to be quiet if possible and I think that 256mb is what I need to get. I need this for video editing and running some intense 3D transitions for it. PCI-E Suggestions. Thanks.

Agreed. Shop around.

6800GS if you want to save money, its like $209.

7800GT is you want to spend exactly $300 (its $270 after mail-in rebate). Its also a lot better than the 6800GS, though there is nothing to complain about the 6800GS either.
