Before i order my parts i wanted to know if anyone else had some advice on my build wether or not i should change some parts before i order. I just want to spend my money best and if possible lower my price a little.

get a dvd burner/drive instead of the cd-rom

Good... But you should get a DVD/CD combo drive instead of two seperate ones. Also, if you can, try to get 2GB of RAM, and an X-Fi XtremeMusic sound card, and if you can't afford that, get an Audigy2 ZS OEM for $70.

cant offord the extra gb of memory, im strapped on cash as is. Bu do you have any suggestions on dvd/buners? And is there anythign else i need? I am a newb too so i dont know much but my dad is helping me build the PC, also what is the cheapest and best OS that i can get, i would prefer like a windows OS i will be gaming but not hardcore
