I got my old family computer, and I wanted to put Mandrake Linux on it, and I also wanted to Slave Drive it.

When I plugged in my old computer;s Hard Drive (which was much slower and older, but I upgraded it to XP, and some things worked) while the original Hard Drive is in the computer too, I get an error message stating that there is no OS found. How do I fix that?

And, Also, when I am about to get into installing Mandrake, it asks which CDROM Drive I am using (I have 2 for some odd reason) and everything freezes up. Can you help me with that?

Im not sure about your second problem but for your first one, to boot off a Harddrive that has been in another computer your must do a repair of it from OS disc.
