Is there any way to tell by hardware ID if the computer parts are stolen?

Did you buy from someone who had negative feedback? Is that why you're wondering?

Well, no the person did not have negative feedback however, cpu and motherboard have a "hot" feel to them. I see all these ID numbers on these parts and was wondering if any of them could be traceable to a reported stolen item.

I think even if they were stolen..

It'd be miles and miles away from where they were stolen from. It'd be a huge hassle to send and then get replacements.

And no, I don't think it'd be possible to check out those ids.

Chances are, stolen goods wouldn't be sold over ebay anyway.. it'd be some shady back-alley transaction..
