AGP Support: NO, PCI Express Support: YES

So, I'd *assume* it does have PCI express, best way to find out is to pop the top, though.

and, the reason why your RAM wont work with an AMD mobo is because Intel uses DDR2(Which is 240 pin), while AMD uses DDR1(Which is 184 pin)

thats not true...not all intel boards support DDR2...only current ones. most support DDR1..

the more recent Intel's use DDR2. AMD will also be going to DDR2 in the beginning of next year, and will have DDR3 support by 2007 as far as I know

Yea your graphics card isn't very good and you might want to think about upgrading it. If you want to, just give us a price range and we can help you out. BTW, i'm selling my ATI Radeon X700 Pro 256mb PCI-E video card which is a lot better than your X300.
