Hard Drive Failure?

It finally booted up sort of. The 120GB HD with the new windows installation is the master drive and the 250GB HD with the old windows is the slave drive. On initial boot I get a screen that says:

Primary disk 0 not found
Primary disk 1 not found

I press Ctrl,Alt,Del to reboot.

I get a screen that says Error Loading OS. I press Ctrl,Alt,Del to reboot.

Windows loads from 120GB HD. I go into my computer and there is the 120GB HD but no 250GB HD same with device manager. I'm running windows update right to get SP2. I hope this helps.

you should see it, look in my computer / manage / disk management

It's just not seeing the drive.

Quick update, the hd is definitely spinning but is now also making clicking noises constently. Don't know what that means though.

clicking is not a good sign

If a Drive is making ANY clicking sound or scratching sound then its bad, you should try backing up any data on it, however its most likly gone, unless you want spend money for a company to recover it. Cut your loses and buy a new drive.
