Its always fun to think where technology will be in the future. So i was wondering where do you think technology will be at in 50 years (that is, the year 2055)?

By then, I am going to be retired and I am not going to care.

I will be 66 years old and chances are I won't need a computer for anything else but freecell.

yeah I'll be 71 and the only computer near me will probably be keeping me alive and regulating my breathing

I see carbon nano tube tech being used for computers to solve the heat issue. Also, light array storage (along the lines of the FMD idea that was scrapped). Women will be made of carmel nouget, and panties will taste like ribeye steak.

We will have CPUs with 30 cores. computers with 1 terabyte of RAM, and graphics cards with 128 Pipelines. And chickens will grow lips.

theres gonna be no pc...cuz anything gonna be pc built in. phone, tv, microwave, refrege, etc. all u need is the brain implant to show it directly in ur eyes nerve system. and operatin by thinking.

I don't think there will be that in 50 years, maybe a couple hundred. We don't even know a lot of the mysteries of the brain itself, or how it works, so electronics won't be working with it for awhile.
