I'm going to buy OCZ DDR 400 PC 3200 RAM. I'm a gamer and was wondering which series to go with. I would like 2GB (2 x 1GB) but OCZ does not offer that for the Gold series which is made for gamers. Here are the two I'm considering for 2GB (2 x 1GB):

I could get 1GB (2 x 512MB Gold Series). Here is the one I'm considering:

My mobo capacity is 4GB. What do ya'll think I should go with?

It depends on if your going to overclock or not, if not just get the first or some cheap ram. "Gaming RAM" IMO is just a gimick for you to spend an extra 100 bucks on RAM which wouldn't hardly give any performance increase at all. It doesn't matter what ram you have if your not going to overclock, the more expensive ram can overclock further.

Don't go over 2GB because your computer will actually slow down becuase WindowsXP has problems with setups more then 2GB RAM.

Nope, 2GB is the perfect amount of ram for XP. Anything over 2GB is when XP doesn't know what to do with it and it therefore becomes useless.

"For the price," if you're not overclocking, ValueSelect is better because the only reason you pay more for RAM is when you're overclocking so that you get higher-quality chips that can handle higher frequencies. At stock speeds, $70 RAM and $250 RAM will perform relatively the same.
