hey. I can bump up the budget to $70 because i found some guys wallet and managed to return it too him and he gave me $70 as a reward. These are my upgrades:

Old Budget: $50 for HSF, $50 for 512mb DDR 400 = $100
New Budget: $70 for HSF, $100 Ram

So, now im looking for a HSF under $70 and i want one that defenantly fits my A7n8x-x no questions asked.

If it wasnt over 50 i would suggest my HSF which owns the Typhoon.

I have 2 Vantec Tornados mounted on it, loud yes, but very effective.

If I had that, I'd be worried about it ripping the CPU socket right out of the motherboard from its weight.

Actualy its not very heavy, it only looks it. The only thing heavy about it is the 2 fans i have on it. It has brackets that hold it on there.

yeah but I think it's best to compare with standard fans. the Typhoon's fan is designed to be quiet, so is slower.

It all depends on how you look at it. I would choose 2 Tornados over 1 quiet 120mm fan that dosent push that much air. Also if i wanted to i could always get 2 quiet blue LED fans and still have more cooling. To go for both posts 2 fans is still better than one in my book and considering 180mms is bigger than 120 then you do the rest of the simple math. On the plus side the whole thing is pure copper.
