Someone wants me to build them a computer for $1300 or less. This will include everything except an OS (monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers and everything inside the tower. So far I've come up with this. Can anyone suggest better prices to keep this PC under $1300?

**Remember all the prices are in Canadian dollars.**

EDIT: I forgot to say that there will be no overclocking.

Looks pretty good, but you might want to try and fit 1gb into your budget, maby get a cheaper monitor, or just save up a little more money and get 1gb of ram.

if you need a cheap LCD monitor, im selling one for 180 USD :D which is rougly 200 CAD

The guy said no to the LCD, because it's used and it comes to roughly the same price. I've updated everything because he kind of cheaped out on me, he said $1200 or less. Everything included (mouse, keyboard, monitor, building cost, tax, shipping and all the rebates) except an OS. Tell me what you think.

I would go out to a local computer store and get a CRT monitor (flat screen, but not LCD) because most gamers prefer it. Also, I'd drop the speakers and get some pc160 headphones (Sennheiser), They'll do alot better then most speakers if hes a true gamer. ;)

He's not a true or hardcore gamer, hence the price. Most gamers won't skimp on anything. I'll suggest to him a CTR but he wants more desktop space.
