What do you really want to do with it? games, basic apps. etc... I am either going to go with the San Diego 3700+ or the Opteron 148, they both are slightly more expensive than the 3200+ but better. Other than that it really depends on what you want to do.

how much are you willing to spend? Are you going to OC? If you want to play the newest games on highest settings youll want something like a 7800GT or 6800 and maybe 2gb of RAM.

If thats all the money you have, that build is extremely good though i would say spend around 50 dollars more then get a 6800GS

ok yeah thanks im going to be gaming mostly my budget is 1k or 1100 and i still need to get Flat screen LCD mouse keyboard Speakers and stuff like that and i haven't factored in christmas money yet so it might be a bit more

go for a 6800gs for that build for sure

the cpu is meh decent
mobo is pretty good
ram is ok
case is nice
psu is overkill for that comp
id just go for a 400 watt antec
the case is nice
good hdd and dvd drive
