Hey all. I am planning on doing a build soon, and I was wondering if this looks alright:

Case -- ASPIRE X-Navigator ATXA8NW-AL/500 Silver/Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 500W Power

PSU -- ENERMAX All in One Noisetaker Series EG701AX-VE SFMA(24P) ATX12V 600W

Motherboard -- Update ASUS A8N-SLI Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard

Processor -- AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Venice 1GHz FSB Socket 939 Processor Model ADA3500BPBOX

Video -- ASUS EN6800GT/2DT/256MB Geforce 6800GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card

Memory -- Rosewill 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered System Memory Model RW400/1024

I'm not sure on the PSU, I don't know what is good right now. Also, is this a decent vido card? I plan on using the onboard soundcard until I can get some more money together for a one. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! (all of these are taken from newegg.com)

Most everything looks pretty good on that system. The PSU is one thing you'd want to switch out. Here's the one i have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817104155
It's an awesome PSU and i highly recommend OCZ PSU's for their quality and reliability. If you dont want an OCZ PSU, Antec and Fortron are some other good brands. Not sure if you've heard but there's a 6800GS that came out recently, it is neck and neck with the 6800GT and sometimes even better. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130258
But if you can spend $279, this card rocks. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130256
The 7800GT is one of the best cards out there. The price is spectacular right now so you might want to get that. Not sure about Rosewill memory, but i'd stick to OCZ, Corsair, or Kingston. If you are an overclocker, you need to get better ram, but if not, value ram will do. Other than that, everything looks pretty good

The Enermax noiseTaker 600 watt Version, IS NOT a bad power supply, There is no other I would buy between 140 and 150 Dollars he doesn't have to change it. Its quiet beastly.

That video card looks awesome, I'll have to seriously consider it.

Now, I know little to nothing about ram. how does this look:

OCZ 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM

thanks for all the help guys!

Yea i never said it was a bad PSU, but you surely don't need all that power. Not even SLI needs a full 600W of power. 520W will do, so i'm just throwing that out there. And remember, it's not all about watts ;)
