case/mobo compatability

If I were to upgrade my mobo and cpu
currently socket a/athlon xp ---> socket 939/athlon 64
would it fit in the same case?
or would i need a new case for the new parts

What kind of power supply do you have? You might have to replace it aswell.

more than likely, it will fit. You need to spit out your motherboard model so we can see if it is ATX or microATX or what have you.

mobo is a via kt 266a socket a
using a replaced 400 w antec psu due to supplied psu dieing after a few years

oh just noticed on the manual it says ATX as well
