Lol, you have the same motherboard as me...I didn't think anyone else had it, lol. I don't especially like this motherboard, but meh.
You SHOULD get a new motherboard. For the price of the X850XT PE, you could get a good, new motherboard and a current generation Nvidia card that would kill the X850XTPE (eVGA GeForce 7800GT, $320). The X850XTPE is last generation and is absolutely no match for the 7800GT. The difference is like the X850Pro and your 9800Pro...and the 7800GT is still cheaper.

If you do that you won't believe how great that is and even though you have an ATi and I do aswell I must say They suck with drivers and with the combo I said then you will be most satisfied.

I SERIOULY recommend you get that motherboard and the eVGA 7800GT (theres an XFX one at the top too, and XFX has the highest failure rate). Why do you want to stick with ATi? Just because you've always had their product?
