Do you think thats going to be good for playing games like Doom 3, NFS, POSSIBLY BF2. And will i need any specific mobo or power supply to go with it?

Yes =). It'll play them on good settings. Macdude's right about the rest, though personally i'd go with higher psu

Higher? Well, can someone reccommend one thats good, yet, not TO expensive. I know that the PSU's a pretty important piece, i just got a bit of a budget :D hahah

Lol sorry, Nos's post kinda hijacked your thread

Pzero was suggesting psu's for higher end/sli systems in response to nos (er.... at least i think he was :p )

A 420 w psu would be fine for you, though I believe thermaltake is on the list of "never ever buy these psu's".

Ste has a good guide on psu's

As for reliable Brand names
(more Expensive)
PC power and cooling
OCZ technolgies
Hiper

(Medium Priced)
Antec
Enermax

(lower priced)
forton (FPS Fortron)
Vantec

Some brands I mentioned have higher end power supplies and some lower end ones but for the most part it holds true.

The brands I stay away from and would never reccomend. Ever.
~Thermaltake (TT)
~Ultra
~Coolmax
~ASUS
~Sparkle
~RaidMax
~AeroCool
~AMS
