need program to PERMANENTLY delete files!!

hey im big on security and i want a program that will permanently delete any file off the drive and is not recoverable by using a recover program.

example: system mechanic's incinterator without all the other stuff.

The FBI/CIA has tools no available to use to recover any file and almost any time stamp. What are you going to do with this hdd you are wanting to delete files off?

The entre surface of the drive needs to be written over at least 7 times and I've heard 20+ is the FBI baseline. Yikes......!!!!!! If you're trying to get rid of all that porn you'll need to yell, "pull" and then hit that HD head on with 3 1/2" 12 ga mag filled with #4 steel.

lol i kno it sounds bad but im not finding it for porn lol a friend of mine just made it sound like any one could restore a file from your harddrive and i didnt want that to happen.

as long as it's not kiddie porn or terroristic activities, any shredder program in google will do. so would evidence eliminator

You can go to www.acronis.com. They have an awesome file shredder. You can chose from multiple shredding modes.

you could always do a kevin rose thing on http://thebroken.org/ and fill your drive with thermite and watch it melt at about 3000 F

if you want things gone you need to get a shredder as long as it shreds best 1 i suggest is evidence elminator that has all these kinds of methods of shreading..
then to offically make it gone you format 10 times in a row.. just format as soon as that is done do it again.. and then do it again over and over 10 times things will be gone. or least make it like 2 years for them to recover it
