I was reading the reviews on newegg(i don't know why, i got bored lol) and i came across this:
Don't get this if you want to oveclock. I got the PQZFA and it's a bad overcloker. I'll rate this Five b/c I've bought a few before and my last one (AQZFA) runs 210x11 (2310) @ 1.81V on an ASUS A7n8x-del with an SLK800u/VantecTornado.
The PQZFA is multiplier LOCKED, and when I raise FSB to 190 I need a VCore of 1.8V... this to me, is not a good overclocker. Oh by the way, you need very high voltage to hit 200fsb... trust me, everything is hooked up right. I've built about 10 PCs, where half have been OCed.
Other than that, if you're not overclocking, this CPU is the best bang for the buck! I'm kinda reminiscing my athlon1700XP which is currently at 200x11.5 at like 1.78V, hehe. that thing was 41 bucks when they were still selling.
If you want an unlocked Barton, I suggest checking out the 2800xp.
and this:
for those of you that are wondering what you may get (like i was before i ordered). i received a: AQZFA 0349 WPBD
it is multiplier locked, but it doesn't matter with this nf7-s that i got from here too, i have it running like eveyone else
11x200
so, how do i find out if my cpu is multiplier locked? i have the oem model from tigerdirect
