yah i looked into the dell but i think its ugly the one for $400 and it has a 14.1 inch screen, No Integrated Wireless Support and it has a Intel® Celeron which iv heard nothing but bad from it...

Still beats the sh*t out of an acer. Dell's have a tendency to actually run.

Maybe not. But it's still worse than even a dell.

after reading this post, I cannot help but laugh at the comments about acer laptops. Acer's, are recommended for high end professionals. I have had my acer for almost a year now and have had absolutely no problems. I am running XP 32bit, (I also run 64 bit), Server 2003 Enterprise 32/64 bit, Visual Studio .net, SQL, Oracle, as well as video editing. I have had many different brands of Laptops, and have sold them to come back to my acer...

should be here by thurs at latest. And i do believe Acer is a good brand and long as you treat the laptop good im sure it wont fall apart. Any laptop has a breaking limit.

k i will im not sure ill be doing much gaming maybe a lil guildwars and other light games nothing heavy like doom3 ima have to tweak the intergrated graphics a lil bit

I think you have made a good choice the sempron uses less power than the athlon.
